India Post GDS Result 2024 will be announced on 19 August 2024. Circle-wise and category-wise merit list will be prepared on the basis of 10th class marks only. Candidates can check their result by visiting the official website indiapostgdsonline.gov.in.
Note: Some circles like Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir may delay their result due to the implementation of code of conduct.
Qualification and Age Limit for GDS 2024
- Age Limit: The age limit for GDS Recruitment 2024 has been fixed as 18-40 years (as on 5.10.2024). Age relaxation will also be given as per the rules.
- Qualification: 10th Pass
GDS Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Only 10th class marks will be considered for the selection of Gramin Dak Sevak. After this, circle-wise and category-wise merit list will be prepared. There will be no written test or interview for this recruitment.
Document Verification:
Document verification will be done after the declaration of the result. If all the posts are not filled from the first merit list, further merit lists will be released.
