Bihar School Examination Board, Patna has released the Bihar DElEd 1st Merit List 2024 for two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (DElEd) on 17th July 2024. Candidates who had registered for online counselling after clearing the entrance exam will be able to check their seat allotment result through the official website.
This year, around 33 thousand seats are available for two-year DElEd in various private and government colleges and institutes of Bihar, while the number of candidates declared successful in the exam is much more than the available seats. Seats will be allotted only to those candidates whose marks in the entrance exam are equal to or more than the cut off mark.

Entrance Exam for Biennial D.El.Ed Programme from 30 March The exam was conducted by BSEB, Patna in online mode between 28 April 2024, the result of which was released on 16 June 2024 and after that students registered for online counselling between 20 to 26 June 2024. Now the merit list is going to be released on the official website on 17 July 2024.

The counselling for two-year Diploma in Elementary Education programme consists of several stages, which are as follows.
Result: The result of Bihar DElEd JET 2024 held from 30th March to 28th April was declared officially in the form of rank card by Bihar School Examination Board, Patna on 16th June.
Registration and Processing Fee Payment with Choice Filling: After the declaration of Bihar DElEd JET 2024 result, the registration and choice filling window was available from 20th to 26th June 2024.
Merit List (Selection List or Seat Allotment)
Bihar School Examination Board, Patna is going to release the seat allotment, i.e., first merit/selection list for admission to two-year DElEd programme in July 2024.
College Reporting: Candidates who are satisfied with the allotted seat have to download the allotment letter by paying the admission fee and take it to the allotted college along with other required documents for admission formalities, the timing of which is not announced yet.
Note: Candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotted for the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education programme will have the option of ‘Slide Up Process’, so that they can get a better seat for admission.
